The first female portrait I did in NY was Judy. It started a group of what I called The Kick Ass Chick Paintings. I will post one each Thursday. Here she is lounging in, Matisse's Harmony in Red with the Katzenjammer Kids looking over her shoulder.

this is incredible. i love the reds, all the roundness and curves. this image feels so fertile—not in a kids way but in a creativity way. all that fruit and light and beautiful woman. and it seems like there's a mix of realism in with the matisse-ness. fantastic.
